Message First: Its really something you have to decide. For myself, I just dropped an ASSLOAD into my Z. It was difficult for me to spend the money. But modifying my Z is a hobby. A hobby is something that you like doing enough that you dont care if you lose money on it. Id probably jsut keel over and die if my Z was totaled after all this work but...Thats why Ill be extra paranoid about it for the first couepl years =)
So where is your threshold? Is wasting $X,XXX worth it to you if you NEVER EVER see any of it again? I know it is to me...But if its not to you, then stop modifying. Or make it stock again, etc...

Second: Who cares if the car is losing value? Every car loses value. For me, it just simply does not matter if my Z loses value because I will NEVER sell it. I will own that car to the day it goes to the junk yard...Or I go to my grave. Now if you dont feel the sme way, then your on the other side of the planet from me, and alot of people here.
If you EVER plan on sellign your Z, then maybe you shoudl stop modding it right now, and put your money elsewhere, where you might feel more happy or comfortable with it.
